With stylish aesthetics, the Panasonic TX-L32C3B 32-inch HD Ready LCD TV looks great, but does the feature list, and more importantly, the visuals, meet or exceed our expectations?

Improved Viewing
Immediately, you will notice that angle viewing with the Panasonic TX-L32C3B 32 inch HD TV is quite flawless. There is almost no degradation of colour when you are watching television from an extreme corner angle.  The IPS LCD high quality panel is probably what has caused angle viewing to be so upscale compared to regular TN TV screens. This characteristic alone makes the price tag of around three hundred fifty pounds seem more than reasonable.

Sockets and Connections
With merely 2 ports for HDMI, there is a limitation in terms of the number of  HD devices you can plug into the TV, which can be a major problem if you have a HD Sky Box, Playstation, Blu-ray player all feeding into the one TV. There is an SD card reader included, which you can use to play files from multimedia devices such as digital cameras and camcorders. There is also only one socket for SCART.  We would have perhaps liked to have seen a couple of extra HDMI and SCART plugs for more convenience, with people nowadays tending to have a number of devices plugged into one TV simultaneously.

For when you need to download updates in terms of firmware, there is an Ethernet port provided as well, allowing you to connect the TV to your broadband router.

There is no VGA input available, which is a let down, and there are no access points for services for on demand TV either.  These additions would be welcomed upon an updated release, but for now, these are a thing of the future for this TV.

Colours, Configuration and Box Contents
One notable feature is that the colours look quite natural on the Panasonic TX-L32C3B 32 inch HD TV compared to other sets. Before you even check the settings in order to ‘fix’ the image you see on the screen, you will notice that the pre-settings are quite fine, enabling you to get straight on with watching your TV – very little in the way of configuration required.

The TV is easy to set up as the instruction manual is user friendly. Even if your PVR is from another brand, it will work pretty well with this TV.

The box contains the operating instructions, a pedestal, batteries, a remote control and the gorgeous Panasonic TX-L32C3B 32 inch HD TV. The product weighs a mere nine kilograms.

The sound quality produced by this TV is also pretty good. You can even make a connection between an AV amp using an optical cable in order to get a high quality sound.  One notable absence are any audio output sockets, so you need to ensure that the amp you purchase has an input that is optical.
