Haywards Heath Movie Makers

We are one of the foremost amateur film and video societies in the South of England. Based in Haywards Heath in Sussex, we are still going strong after 60 years and boast an active film making membership ranging from total beginners to expert amateur movie makers who have won national and international awards. Some of our output has even been shown on UK television.

Our Main aims are to :

1. Make entertaining and interesting movies in any format available to us.

2. To learn as much as possible about the various techniques used in film and television.

3. To help others to make good and interesting films.

We meet every two weeks, on alternate Tuesday evenings, and always welcome new members.

If you are interested in making films or videos, have a camcorder or camera that takes video and want to know how to use them to better effect, or would just like to know how things work, please come along – you’ll be made most welcome.
